It’s go time for getting the word out on our event – America 250 Celebration and Candidate Forum at Sanger Sterling Gardens, 492 Osprey Glen. The event itself is no charge and the food and garden walk is a $15.00 donation to benefit RWCC programs. Gates open at 12:30 for food, garden walking, games, signing initiatives and registering to vote, and our first candidate will speak at 1:15.
Normally, our Coffee Chat has been second Thursday, but we met for planning on June 4th as a Coffee Chat and decided we need to meet for coordinating and creating signage for our event. I am procuring materials for signs and gathering Patriotic items for decor. I will be working on signs and other planning duties on Thursday, June 11th from 10:00-1:00 here (our normal Coffee Chat day) for anyone who wants to help.
Our America 250 is set for June 20th and so our regular meeting in May and now our regular June meeting has been thrown off schedule. Our America 250 will replace our June meeting, so there will be no regular meeting for June 18th. **Instead, we will meet here at 4:00pm on June 19th for set up for our event, for all who are interested in helping set up**
There are a few other dates to keep in mind right now. July 2nd (the first Thursday) is the monthly meeting of The Clallam County Republicans at 6:00. That meeting will be here and is a chance to bring any and all people you know who are conservative and do not know about the Clallam Republicans. We are hoping for a big showing of our RWCC to participate and support our county Republicans as we prepare for our state’s primary and the midterm Elections. More on that will be announced later.
July 3rd (Friday) at 10:00 here is float decorating for the 4th of July 250 Parade in PA. More on that later.
