| Clallam GOP says no to library tax hike. |
| The Clallam GOP Central Committee voted to recommend a No vote on the Library’s property tax hike on the April 28th special election ballot. While we support literacy and the mission of libraries, we know that Clallam County property owners have been nickled and dimed by every level of government. Now is not the time for higher taxes. Just like families have to tighten their belts when times are tough, so do governments. We are also skeptical of some of the library’s recent spending priorities. Make sure to turn your ballot in before April 28th. Jeff Tozer at Clallam County Watchdog asks some good questions about the levy |
